Ciarlene Coleman (she/they) is an actor-singer, creator, and educator. She is a 1st Generation Filipino American performer originally from San Diego, California, now based in London. She has worked with a wide variety of talent in a wide variety of genres, ranging from developmental musical theatre with Broadway professionals to hosting ukulele shows featuring live dolphins. Ciarlene is also no stranger to independent arts production, with her solo fringe show YOUR BEST AMERICAN GIRL winning Best of Fest, Critic’s Pick, and Best World Premiere at the San Diego International Fringe Festival in 2019. Ciarlene’s other performing credits include Disney Theatricals, La Jolla Playhouse, Technicolor, and Snapchat.

Outside of performing, Ciarlene works as a freelance theatre producer and arts educator. She is Founding Artistic Director Emeritus of MaArte Theatre Collective, which produced exclusively Filipino-written, original stage works. Currently, Ciarlene is an active volunteer with Equity UK committees, continues teaching acting and singing to all ages, and enjoys charity shops, story-rich video games, and gratuitous snacking.
